Position Overview
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Merchandise Planner within the Sustainable Design Department at TFG Design Centre. This role is integral to connecting external designers, the retail buying team, and internal design teams to deliver impactful, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
As a Merchandise Planner, you will:

  • Act as the central liaison between all stakeholders, including external designers, internal design teams, and production units.
  • Mentor designers on garment production for retail, guiding them from concept to bulk order delivery.
  • Convert designs into technical specs and manage project allocations on systems such as PLM Centric and ISYNC for factory-level planning.
  • Document project costs and resources, and report progress on the BBBEE scorecard against budget.
  • Drive process adherence and maintain project timelines effectively.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • A tertiary qualification in clothing production or design.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a clothing manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of the Centric system (preferred but not essential).

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Expertise in Assortment Planning and Commercial Acumen.
  • Proficiency in Merchandise Systems and Excel.
  • Skilled in Supply Chain Management, Planning, and Organization.
